Sausage, Cranberry, and Biscuit Breakfast Bake

What a fantastic recipe! The balance of flavors is sooo good!! The only adjustments I made was to halve the recipe (since it's just hubby and me), added a pinch of red pepper flakes to the gravy, and made the entire thing in my cast iron. I absolutely love the combination of savory sausage, the sweet-tart cranberries, the creamy gravy, and the bit of heat from the red pepper--it's unexpected, and delicious! Plus: it's a gorgeous dish! Thanks so much for the recipe!

This was my first time making biscuits and gravy and it was so easy! I loved using store-bought biscuits to keep things really quick. I was skeptical of the cranberries at first but thought they added a nice sweet surprise! My gravy thickened up really fast so next time I might try turning the heat down or adding a little more milk to thin it out. The flavor from the sausage was DELICIOUS! Will make again!

I really enjoyed this. Like another reviewer I also halved as it’s just my husband and I. I still baked for 20 minutes, and I used 6 out of 8 of the biscuits from the tube. I did find the bottom layer was still a little doughy. I used 50% less sugar dried cranberries and it was perfect. I don’t particularly love cooking and this was so easy even for me. Will definitely save for another time!

I thought this was pretty good! I was a little skeptical about adding the cranberries, but they added some nice flavor and sweetness! Even my toddler enjoyed this recipe!

Good idea but I had to add additional milk and water when using 2 pkgs of gravy mix. Also the biscuits on the bottom do not cook all the way and come out doughy. Had to put back in oven and bake longer.
